-ATTENDANCE POLICY
Absolutely NO PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 are permitted in the Pearle School of Burlesque dance studio or lobby areas.
Students are expected to arrive on time. A proper warm-up is executed at the beginning of each class. Students who arrive more than 10 minutes late may be asked to observe the class for reasons of health and safety.
-DRESS CODE & LOST PROPERTY
There is a strict NO NUDITY policy at all times in Pearle School of Burlesque studios and lobby areas. While burlesque is the art of striptease, we still need all genitalia and areolas covered regardless of gender expression. Proper athletic attire must be worn during any classes, workshops, private lessons, and private studio sessions. This includes, t-shirts, tank tops, sports bras, yoga shorts/pants, sweat pants, socks, dance shoes, costume attire, tights/leggings, etc. NO jeans, street shoes, heavy metal accessories, or anything that can damage the dance floors or mirrors. Should the instructor deem attire unsafe or out of lines with the class policy, we reserve the right to prevent the student from taking part in the activity. This is done for both the safety of the studio, as well as the safety of the student.
Pearle School of Burlesque does not accept responsibility for items lost or stolen, but anything found will be put into our "Lost & Found" bin and kept for 30 days before being discarded.
-BEHAVIOR POLICY
Students are expected to behave in a polite manner to their classmates and instructors both IN AND OUT of class. We have a very strict no-tolerance policy regarding harassment, bullying, and shaming of anyone in class. If any student is causing a disruption to others' learning they may be asked to leave the lesson. If any student in class makes another feel uncomfortable in any way, they are to bring the issue to the instructor, who then goes to Venus and the matter will be handled accordingly.
***If needed, violators if the behavior policy will be banned from Pearle School of Burlesque classes, workshops, events, as well as events led by Pearle Productions, Kentucky Burlesque Festival, and any independent shows produced by Venus Pearle.***
